Located in the Adirondacks,
Our area is known for sitting over a hot cup of coffee, or a cold beer, to discuss everything that is right
or wrong in the world. We’re a stubborn bunch that believes in the future of the Adirondacks and the North Country.
On occasion, we’ll disagree with each other. But in the end, we always pull together for a greater good.
So, a few of us decided to get together and create a company that offers something that may help you get more
out of these discussions, and come up with that greater good. Some in our company were born and raised here,
and some came from other areas and saw a lot of hope. Folks from the Adirondacks and North Country are a proud bunch,
and we’re glad to be a part of that bunch. We named our company Big Tupper Brewing because the
Big Tupper ski area in Tupper Lake has always been a symbol of hope. For over 50 years, Big Tupper has played an
important role in the Adirondacks and North Country, by introducing the outside world to our area,
and by bringing people together.
Mary Fontana adds a feisty spirit to the team. She’s not afraid to mix it up with the crowd, and she will make it clear that she loves our area and Big Tupper Brewing. Her direct approach is a strength that the rest of the BTB team loves!
Matt Ellis joined the BTB team with a passion for our beer and our area. Matt loves to talk about the hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, etc. in our area, and then he’ll tell you what Big Tupper Brewing beer you should have with your adventure!
Rachel Walsh loves craft beer and she loves Big Tupper Brewing. Just ask her! Don’t let her small frame fool you, as we have seen her throw some kegs around that would shame most men. We’re glad Rachel is part of our team!
We hope that it brings more of us together and serves as your inspiration to help with the greater good.
